Welcome to our year 1 class page! Your teacher this year will be Mrs Wood. In year one, we transition from the EYFS to the National Curriculum. We also believe that continuous provision is extremely beneficial to our children’s learning. Reading is an essential part of our curriculum and we teach this through phonics. We will prepare every child will take part in the phonics-screening test in the summer term. We promote confidence and independence in year one and love to have fun!
