The online form can be found on the website with information to help you to complete it. You need to complete this form to start the application process.
Each admission year, the Local Authority produces a ‘Guide to Parents Admission to Schools’ – summary guide. The maximum number of admissions agreed with the Local Authority for Cayton School is 30 per year group.
Children are admitted to Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception), at the start of the Autumn Term of the school year during which they will be five years of age.
In the Summer Term before children start Reception there is an induction evening for all new parents and taster sessions for the children.
If the Local Authority is unable to allocate a place at Cayton School you will be entitled to an appeal in line with current legislation. Appeal arrangements are available on the North Yorkshire website by clicking on the link, or from the admissions team on request, please contact:
